How do I join my first race? Getting started is easy: Create a Lizard Racing account. Connect your Steam account and complete your profile. Register for an event. Join the server in ACC when the event starts. Not sure if you've completed everything required? Simply try to register for a race. If anything is missing, you'll automatically be redirected to your profile page where you can complete the required information. Do I need DLC to race? Sometimes. Some events use only base-game content, while others require DLC tracks or cars. It is your responsibility to check the event details before signing up. Lizard Racing has a strong focus on Nordschleife racing, which requires the Nürburgring 24H Pack DLC. Do I need to join Discord? For most races, Discord is optional but highly recommended. Discord is the best place to receive announcements, get support, find teammates, and engage with the community. For endurance events, joining the Discord server is mandatory. How do I connect my Steam account? If you signed in with Steam, you are already connected! If not, follow the steps below. Go to steamid.io/lookup and search for your Steam account. Copy your SteamID64 and paste it into the Steam ID field on your Lizard Racing profile page. This allows us to identify you in-game, register you for races, and track your results correctly.

Lizard Racing is a free to use, community-driven racing platform for Assetto Corsa Competizione focused on clean, competitive, and accessible racing. Our goal is to make organized online racing easy to join, rewarding to improve in, and fun to participate in. Whether you're completely new to ACC or an experienced endurance racer, Lizard Racing provides a place to race, improve, and compete against drivers of similar skill levels. How is my ELO calculated?

Lizard Racing uses an ELO-style rating system to measure competitive performance. After each race, your result is compared against the average strength of the field and the position the system expected you to achieve. Finishing higher than expected will increase your ELO. Finishing lower than expected will decrease it. The size of the change depends on: The strength of the field (average ELO of participating drivers) Your current ELO rating Your finishing position The number of drivers in your class The race length multiplier What if I'm ranked P1, do I need to win in order to not lose ELO? No, the system leaves room for error. If you are the highest-rated driver in the field, the system will expect a strong result from you. However, a podium finish or other competitive result may still perform close to expectations, resulting in positive ELO. Race Length Multiplier Longer races have a greater impact on ELO than shorter races. The following multipliers are currently used: Race Length Multiplier 0 – 44 minutes 0.4× 45 – 59 minutes 0.8× 60 – 119 minutes 1.0× 120 – 269 minutes 1.4× 270+ minutes 2.0× Class-Based Ratings ELO is calculated independently for each car class. Your result is only compared against drivers competing in the same class as you. What are the different ELO rankings? Click your ELO & Safety badge in the top right corner to see all ranks.

How is my Safety Rating (SR) calculated?

Safety Rating is scored from 0.00 to 10.00, and will be affected based on your distance driven and collected incident points. The full SR range can be found by clicking your ELO & Safety icon in the top right corner. Incident Points 1x – Track limits violation 4x – Damage-causing incident Distance Matters Safety Rating is calculated using incident points per kilometer driven. Every completed lap contributes to an increase in your safety record. This allows drivers competing on very different circuits to be compared fairly. Is it harder to gain SR at higher ratings? Yes, As your Safety Rating increases, the system expects cleaner driving. Small mistakes that may have little impact on a lower-rated driver can have a larger effect on drivers already operating at a very high Safety Rating. This helps ensure that a Safety Rating near 10.00 represents consistently exceptional driving standards rather than simply accumulated race distance. The goal is not perfection. The goal is to encourage clean, respectful racing while accounting for race length, track characteristics, and driving consistency. What about team races? If multiple drivers are sharing a car, incident points & completed laps are awarded to whoever is driving the car. It is not shared between drivers.

§1 General Conduct §1.1 Deliberate contact is prohibited. §1.2 Retaliation is prohibited. §1.3 Any deliberate attempt to ruin another driver's race is prohibited. §1.4 Offensive, discriminatory, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate names, liveries, or behaviour are prohibited. §1.5 Violations of §1 may result in disqualification, suspension, temporary ban, or permanent ban. §2 Defending §2.1 A driver may make one defensive move to protect their position. §2.2 Defensive moves must be proactive. §2.3 Reactive blocking is prohibited. §2.4 Moving under braking is prohibited. §2.5 After choosing a defensive line, additional defensive moves are prohibited. §3 Overtaking & Racing Room §3.1 A driver earns the right to racing room when overlap exists before the turn-in point of the corner. §3.2 When overlap exists, both drivers must leave racing room. §3.3 Drivers must remain on their chosen line while side-by-side. §3.4 An overtaking driver on the inside must remain on the inside line while overlap exists. §3.5 A driver may not force another car off the circuit or into avoidance action. §3.6 Being entitled to racing room does not remove the responsibility to avoid contact. §4 Blue Flags §4.1 Blue flagged drivers must behave predictably. §4.2 Blue flagged drivers must not defend against faster traffic. §4.3 Blue flagged drivers must not block faster traffic. §4.4 When safe to do so, blue flagged drivers should facilitate the passage of faster traffic. §4.5 Drivers may unlap themselves provided the manoeuvre can be completed safely. §5 Rejoining §5.1 Drivers rejoining the circuit must do so safely. §5.2 Drivers rejoining the circuit must do so predictably. §5.3 Rejoining drivers must not obstruct approaching traffic. §6 Qualifying §6.1 Drivers on valid qualifying laps have priority over drivers on out-laps, in-laps, invalid laps, or slower classes. §6.2 Drivers on out-laps or invalid laps must move aside when safe to do so. §6.3 In multi-class sessions, slower classes must facilitate faster classes in a predictable manner. §6.4 Intentional slipstreaming or towing during qualifying is prohibited. §7 Communication §7.1 In-game chat is only permitted during Free Practice. §7.2 Discord voice & text communication is permitted during races. §8 Attendance §8.1 Drivers who register for an event and do not start will be classified as DNS. §8.2 DNS drivers are treated as the last-place finisher for ELO purposes. §9 External Tools §9.1 Telemetry software is permitted. §9.2 Any software, hardware, macro, script, or tools that directly influences steering, throttle, braking, or driver inputs are prohibited. §10 Stewarding §10.1 Penalties issued by the simulation's built-in stewarding system stand unless otherwise specified by event administrators. §10.2 Events may use live stewarding. §10.3 Incident reports must be submitted within 24 hours of the race finish. §10.4 Incident reports must include video evidence. §10.5 Incident reports must be submitted through the designated Discord incident-reporting channel. §10.6 Stewards may apply time penalties, ELO adjustments, Safety Rating adjustments, suspensions, temporary bans, or permanent bans.

How do I find the server password? All Lizard Racing events use the same server password: LZRT The password is displayed on the race event page. While you do not need to register to see the password, you must be registered for the event to participate in the race. Why can't I see the server in ACC? If you cannot find the server, try the following: Check that the ACC servers are online. Make sure the race event has passed its scheduled start time. Servers typically become available at the scheduled start time, although a delay of 1–2 minutes can occasionally occur. Search for "Lizard" in the ACC server browser. Copy the exact server name from the race event page and paste it into the ACC server search. If you still cannot find the server, check Discord or contact an administrator for assistance. What should I do if I disconnect during a race? Don't panic. LizardRacing.com allows drivers to rejoin races after disconnecting. When you reconnect, ACC will place your car back in the pit lane and you can continue the race from there. Lizard Racing does not apply any penalties for disconnecting. However, the race continues while you are away, so other drivers may gain positions and your final result remains your responsibility. If you disconnect, simply rejoin the server as quickly as possible and continue racing.

Is Lizard Racing free? Yes. Lizard Racing is completely free to use. There are no subscription fees, no paid memberships, and no pay-to-win features. What games are supported? Lizard Racing currently supports Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC). Support for Assetto Corsa EVO (AC EVO) is planned for the future as the platform evolves. Why was Lizard Racing created? Lizard Racing was created to offer great racing experiences for the community, both through daily races and larger endurance events. We believe competitive racing should be easy to join, rewarding to improve in, and built around a strong community. As the platform grows, we will continue to listen to feedback and develop features, events, and racing formats based on what our community wants.

Everything you need to know about Entries, Teams and how Leagues work on Lizardracing.com. What is an Entry? An Entry is a single League participant. Each Entry has its own points and its own place in the Entry Championship. Teams can register as many Entries as they wish. Examples: Lizard Racing #1 Lizard Racing #2 Lizard Racing #3 Can different drivers race the same Entry? Yes. Drivers may change between races or share car if the League allows for driver-swap. League points always belong to the Entry, not the individual driver. For example: Race Lizard Racing #1 Lizard Racing #2 Race A Driver X Driver Y Race B Driver Z Driver Y Race C Driver X Driver W Although different drivers raced each Entry throughout the season, the championship points remain with Lizard Racing #1 and Lizard Racing #2. Can I join a league after it has started? Yes. New Entries can join at any point during the season. Once an Entry completes its first race, it will automatically appear in the championship standings. Can a team add more Entries? Yes. Teams & organizations can register new Entries whenever they like. There is no limit to the number of Entries a team or organization may have. Can we switch cars? Yes. An Entry may switch between different cars between races, provided they remain within the same car class. For example, a GT3 Entry may change from a Ferrari 296 GT3 to a BMW M4 GT3 before the next event. How do team Championships work? Every Entry earns League points individually. The team Championship combines those points into several rankings. Column Description Cars Total number of Entries registered by the Organization. Top 3 Combined points of the three highest scoring Entries. Top 5 Combined points of the five highest scoring Entries. All Combined points from every Entry in the Organization. What leaderboards are available? Entry Championship Team Championship Leaderboards are displayed separately for each car class, ensuring GT3, GT4 and other classes have their own independent standings. Can I miss races? Absolutely. Entries are free to skip races and return later in the season. Their championship points remain unchanged until they compete again. Can I create my own league? Yes. Anyone can create a championship on Lizard Racing, invite competitors, publish results and manage the season from a single place.
